I’m laying on my bedroom floor, looking at my closet. The closet is in my line of sight. It’s a great closet. It’s beautifully crafted and everyone that has seen it raves about it and then takes a picture so that they can replicate it. The only thing is this is not what I asked the guy to do – the dimensions are off. You can’t tell by looking at it, but it’s a beautifully crafted mistake. Thankfully, in this case, I found a workaround and I’m using the closet as is, but the fact remains.
I told you about my closet to say this to you: this week, consider reviewing your courses of action. Ask yourself why you are doing what you are doing. Ask what problem you are trying to solve or mischief you are trying to prevent. Ask if the course of action you are about to embark on is the best way to achieve the things you are looking to achieve. And only then, do it. Take the extra time to clarify your motives and the time to plan your action before you start implementing.
Any thoughts?
