Ive been reflecting a lot lately, probably because its the end of the year :)
I remember when I got my first iPhone. I had another smartphone, which was fine. No, it was a great phone, it had served me well all the while I had it. In fact, it was a real upgrade from the phone that I had before it. But then my phone upgrade option became available again and the phone that was perfectly fine an hour before became the phone that I was just managing. I started to see scratches that I had never seen before. It was then that I realized that the phone’s response time was rather slow. All of a sudden, I didn’t like the weight of it. I began to notice that it wasn’t so sleek after all, there were so many things it couldn’t do… Right after work, I went up to the city and got my first iPhone and then proceeded to soak garri eat ramen noodles for the next two weeks.
It’s really interesting that I went from being perfectly happy with a phone to being willing to starve so I can get rid of it. See how that magic happened just within a few minutes?
I just thought that was real interesting.
Any thoughts?
